Got a text from AJAX last night that his song “Kill Or Be Killed” featuring Paradime was played on 89x’s HOMEBOY SHOW last night. 89X doesn’t normally play hip-hop so it’s cool to hear he’s getting some love. I produced this song, as well as about half of his album. Most of the album was also recorded and mixed by myself. It’s a big project and has been receiving a lot of love.Â

The latest piece of our Five30 Music puzzle, Madio, will be releasing his EP entitled “My Name Is Madio” this March on Five30 Music. He will be the first release by us in 2011, and a great preview of what’s to come from Madio.  The EP features production by Charlie Beans, Eddie Logix, & Skrapz.
“My Name Is Madio” will be the first release from Madio since his 2008 album, “Suburban Bread” which will be available for free download on Five30music.com shortly.  I actually produced his first ever solo song, “Corona And Limon” on his album, which was otherwise produced by emcee/producer AKA. Prior to Madio’s solo release, he was known for his work in the group VeRb. They released one album entitled “The Hip Hop EP.”Â
We’re really happy and excited to have Madio on board with Five30 Music, and even more excited to get new music to you! We hope to have a handful of promo things going for the EP, so definately look for a new song or two to be released before “My Name Is Madio” is available for download. And if you haven’t seen him live, it is a must. He is one of the most underrated performers I’ve ever seen.

Just hit the studio this past week with S.White to work on his follow up to “The Last Boy Scout.” His next work will be coming quicker than most would expect. Takes a guy six years to release one album, at this current juncture he might release two this year!
We have some video from the session, as well as some other vids we’re going to put on the site soon; including our WHA.M. Weekend Tour footage and S.White’s Record Release Party.
Hitting the studio with Madio today. We’re going to be recording a couple of tracks produced by Eddie Logix. Look for Madio’s upcoming EP first quarter of 2011.
