Coming up next from the producer/emcee extraordinaire, is PROGRESS REPORT (D.Allie & Eddie Logix). They just recently raised over $5,000 using KICKSTARTER to get donations for their project. They had to raise the whole 5k to get any of the money, and the last day raised over $2,000. That’s grinding. Their release party is FRIDAY MARCH 25 @ THE MAGIC BAG IN FERNDALE.
Eddie Logix original group, Midcoast Most, will be releasing their first album in five years entitled THE COAST IS CLEAR very soon. I’m super excited for this project, and got a sneak peak into it. This is classic Detroit hip hop.
Additional releases slated this year that involve Eddie Logix are Mobil/Logix, a collaboration with Tenacity, Metasyons, Ben (Of Mice & Musicians), and plenty more I’m forgetting. I believe there were 11 titles he’s finishing in 2011. Going hard.
