PLAY IT FORWARD recieving good reviews and press!

Yes, it has been quite some time since our last update here at Five30 Music.  We do indeed appologize about that.  Since we’ve spoken last,  Benjamin Miles & Eddie Logix opened for DOOMTREE artist SIMS at the Pike Room inside The Crofoot.  Benjamin Miles is performing this Friday, November 4th at The Berkely Front alongside Abolitionist Crew‘s Intricate Dialect & Kadence MC, Auto Pilots, & Doc Illingsworth.  Doors at 9PM.  Play It Forward tee shirts, and physical copies will be available at the show!

Benjamin Miles & Eddie Logix have been getting some great publicity as of late.  We really appreciate the blog love, and solid reviews we’ve recieved from Play It Forward.  People from out of state have been posting, as well as  local support which we’re ecstatic about.  Speaking of local love, check out the 11/2/11 issue of Metro Times for a great article on Benjamin Miles & Eddie Logix available everywhere locally.  LINK TO ARTICLE: http://metrotimes.com/music/breakin-the-law-1.1226312

Super producer Eddie Logix also had a great article written about himself, producing, and his many rap groups.  Check out the interview above.  It’s great to see hard working people starting to get more recognition.  Benjamin Miles & Eddie Logix are incredibly talented, and humble people.   The quality music they’ve been releasing together, and seperate, repectively, shows that.  Benjamin Miles recently collaborated with Pasilacqua’s MISTER for a song produced by Eddie Logix as well.  Staying busy.

Play It Forward  is the most embraced album of our Five30 Music catalog to date.  It’s also recieved the most exposure.  This is great news for everyone at Five30 Music.  We’re very proud of our work and we continue to grow as a unit.  Expect each release to be even easier to find,  listen to, and share.

With that being said, please head over to our music page, and download the other music you might not have heard including S.White‘s The Last Boy Scout, and Madio‘s My Name Is Madio.  Free of charge, of course.

NEXT UP FOR FIVE30 MUSIC-2012, One Year Deep

Besides a brand new cosmetic make over to Five30Music.com, we’re looking forward into giving everyone a little more media as well.  Music videos, blogs, etc.   The more you know, so they say.

Our next release is gearing up to be a Five30 Music collaborative album.  THIS IS NOT A MIXTAPE.  All of the music is original, and is credited to Eddie Logix & Charlie Beans so far.  Every artist on our roster is involved in making the album, and we are in the early stages of its’ creation.

The fun thing is we’ll be making music with some of our friends within the great state of Michigan, as well as artists from out of state.   We’ve got some really cool collabs in the works, and this is a great way for all of us to excercise some creativity outside our own solo projects.  We’ll let people know who we’re working with as we progress.

MORE IN 2012

Solo material coming from Tony Franks, S.White, and Charlie Beans is being worked on simultaneously with our Five30 Music album, so we’ll keep everyone updated on everything related to what we’re doing with those projects including shows, release dates, and other things of that nature.

Sorry for leaving you hanging for some time, but glad to share some good news with you heading into the One Year Anniversary of Five30 Music.  Thank you to everyone who has been spreading the word, and being supportive of us.  We’re looking forward to an even bigger 2012!
