Yes, it’s been quite some time since we’ve updated the website. We appologize for keeping some people in the dark, but have a couple new announcements. First of all, Five30 Music is proud to announce a new release coming 4.1.12. by none of than hip hop band Of Mice & Musicians. Entitled Bottles And Bones, this is the second release from OMAM, but is considered their first complete album.
Five30 was incredibly excited to be approached by OMAM to help push their next release, which essentially is a re-introduction to the band. After several conversations with Benjamin Miles, it seemed obvious that OMAM was anxious to leave their basement studio and upgrade to a professional studio to make their music more creatively accessible. This make over for the band goes as far as setting their self-titled album on fire along other objects on album cover for their new album, Bottles And Bones. After discussions about OMAM finding a home to release their latest work, Ben decided to continue our partnership, and brought his band over to Five30 Music.
“Livin’ Right” TEASER
The best part about Of Mice & Musicians is they cannot be categorized. This seven piece band steps outside the standard verse/chorus/verse, and in turn adopts the ideals of true collaborations from musicians as songwriters. “Livin’ Right” is just one example of how versatile and talented OMAM are as a collective.

Of Mice & Musicians BOTTLES AND BONES (South End) Album Release 4.7.12 @ Northern Lights
The Detroit release party for Bottles And Bones is going to be at one of the best spots in the city, Northern Lights. With a great line up, this is the first show of two we will announce to celebrate the new OMAM album. If you haven’t checked out any of the openers, definitely check them out. We promise to not leave you hanging on for months at a time any longer. Five30 Music has a couple projects being worked on simultaneously, including our Five30 Music Compilation which will be out this year.
